I guess it is not a secret anymore. Our family is growing bigger

I am pregnant and Vetle, Anitra, Ole, Gunn and Lill is going to get a lil brother or sister in April next year.

Monday this week I was to my first ultrasound scan. That was really exciting to see that lil body first time and see the lil heart beating. Everything looks great. The only thing the doctor did notice is that the neck of the uterus is a little short. So he wanted to keep an eye on it - just in case my new lil baby want to come into the world way to early!

Little Vetle do not understand so much that there is a new baby on the way. He is just a happy little boy. And in a couple of weeks he will turn 2 years old and will be a big boy!

Now I am going to just relax for the rest of the evening and watch CSI:NY before it is bedtime

Today was Vetle’s first real day in Kindergarten. We was on visit on Monday and Tuesday, but I did not leave him there. I was with him all the time. And it went very well
But I know that the biggest challenge will be when it is time for a nap. Vetle is not a easy sleeper.

So today was the big day. I know me and hubby were more nervous that our lil boy. There was some crying when we left him. And that is not a good feeling at all. I have never had my kids in Kindergarten in such a young age before.

A hour ago I did make a call to the Kindergarten and I had to ask them who things was going. And I got the message that he was doing just fine. He was playing and was having tons of fun with the rest of the kids.

That is good to hear for a worried mommy

I have for so long admired those who draw cute lil isometrics pixels. And I have many times wanted to try it out. Today I finally got some time to play in photoshop.

LOL..promise not to laugh..but here is my first try.

It was fun…but oh it took me so long! So now I admire those who draw this even more!

I might play more with this way of drawing..when I get time. And I also have to find good tutorials on how to make other shapes than squares..LOL.

Last night I finally did it! …I threw away Vetle’s baby bottles! For a long time he has started to drink of cups with drinking lid on. He did only use his bottles right before bedtime. For the moment he did not show that much interest in his bottles..so I thought it was a perfect time to get rid of them!
LOL..I guess we will see tonight if he will notice they are gone or not :-p

Last week was a busy week. My stepdaughter turned 19 on August 6th. And it was also my and hubby’s 8th anniversary when we got together. Wow..time really flies by!
So on Tuesday I did bake Gunn Kristin favorite cake. My famous (LOL) chocolate cake with wipped chocolate cream. And on Wednesday we had a lil party with my FIL with his wife and my oldest daughter. Vetle had a great time with lots of cookies and cake. LOL..we all had a great time.

This is not going to be such a busy week. But next week the vacation will be over and the kids will be back in school. I really cross my fingers that my stepson and stepdaughter do get a place in school! But we just have to keep the hopes up..and we will know during this week.

So this week I have plans to work more on my forum for my graphic members. Also maybe get some drawing done.  I have sketches for more lines and base I will also work a little on a update for my memberarea. Since I know when I am going back to school on the 25th my computer time will be more limited.

Also this month will be a new time for Vetle if he starts in kindergarden. So many exciting things for all of us this month!

Fun at the beach

We have had another hot and sunny summer day. So after dinner today we decided to take a trip to the beach. The kids really loved that idea..LOL.

This was Vetle’s first visit on the beach…and he loved it! He did run straight to the water..and was soaking wet in a second…LOL. Both me and hubby had a hard time trying to keep up with him. But he did not like when the big waves came in..he got wet all over.

After running in the waves it was time to play in the sand. O’boy..that was even more fun. Wet sand and little boys are something that’s goes together. Not so fun for mom and dad that had to try to clean him up before we started on our way home.

So I can truly say we had a great trip to the beach. Loved it both me, hubby and the kids

..right now that song just keep buzzing through my head. I do love that song with Faithless..have long been one of my favorites.
They keep on singing…”I can’t get no sleep…..” …and I keep on staying awake :-s

My Insomnia is just only for this night…or at least I hope so! It’s my flu and the hot weather that keeps me sleepless. Yesterday and today has really been some hot days! And we have started to paint our house on the outside. But it is not fun when the sun really burns and all we really want is to run into the shadow..sit down and enjoy a real big and cold glass of icetea!!

The clock is almost 5pm..so I think I will have a smoke and then try to see if I can at least get a couple of hour of sleep. Before my sunshine lil boy wakes up and are ready for a new day full of fun, laughter and joy…..with a sleepy mommy after him trying to keep up!..LOL.

It is almost 4:30 am and I have still got no sleep…so I am tiiiiired :-s

On Monday it is 2 weeks since we came home from our vacation. And almost 2 weeks the whole family has been sick. Vetle got sick the last day on vacation, so we drove home a day earlier than planned. The first five days home he was really in a bad condition. And then my youngest daughter, Anitra got sick. Same thing as Vetle..high fiver and not feeling good at all. 1 day later it was my turn..then hubby and my stepson. Those have had it most easy with the bug.

But now I really want to get back on my feet and start doing things again!! It is driving me nuts to not be able to to anything at. And when I try to do something I am so weak that it feels like I have run marathon after I have done it :-s

There are some good news though. On Thursday my stepdaughter also moved in with us. Hubby drove up and helped her get all her stuff down her. So now we really need to get all those rooms ready so both my stepson and stepdaughter can get it all unpack and they can settle down

Hubby is back to work again on Monday, so I really hope I feel better till then.

Right now I am so tired………..so…………….I think I will try to get back to bed and see if I get some sleep since Vetle finally did fall asleep.

Monday we got home from our great vacation. Both me, hubby and the kids had a great week. But I finally got some time to flutter around on my favorite place for the moment. The TMC forum. Found this great challenge and I just had to try it out!

I just love the summer!!! …BTW..who doesn’t?

We are still on vacation, and I finally got some minutes on the laptop. But the connection is really bad..so I am not sure if I will be able to post this at all. :-p

But we are having a great time. Just enjoying the real great weather and each other. Biking on the evening, laying on the beach daytime.

Not sure when we will be back home..but latest on Wednesday..since hubby has to work Thursday and Friday next week :-s And we also have to start painting the house and fix up the bedrooms for my hubbys kids. So lots of work are waiting for us back home.

Now I am off in the sun..we are going to barbeque to my sister in law. They are living on the same camp as us

Yesterday Vetle had a visit to the hairdresser. It was time to loose some hair ;-D

When the girls was younger I did always cut their hair myself. But that was so much easier since they had long hair. With Vetle I do not want to do it myself. LOL..that is to difficult with a 1 year old boy who does not like to sit still longer than 1 minute at time.

This was not Vetle’s first trip to the hairdresser - it was his 4th..LOL.
My hairdresser is really good with children..and with real young kids who is not that interested in getting their hair cut.
So with lots of patient she manage to cut his hair. And now he looks great.
And I think he like it..because he has a big grin on his face the whole day long and have stopped many times in front of the mirror.
